Every calculator, table and figure on Calculator Malaysia is an estimate produced from the inputs you provide and from published Malaysian rates. Nothing on this site is financial, tax, legal, investment, insurance, payroll or religious advice, and nothing here creates a professional relationship between you and us.

Results are intended to help you prepare better questions before you speak to a bank, employer, licensed adviser, LHDN, PERKESO or the relevant authority — not to replace that conversation.

Why your real number may differ

Our calculators use published formulas and simplified assumptions. Real outcomes depend on details we cannot see: your full credit profile, your employer's specific policy or contract terms, a bank's internal assessment, property valuation, your complete tax position, and rate changes made after our last review.

Where a calculation has more than one defensible method, we show both rather than picking one silently. Where a figure is excluded from an estimate, we state it on the page.

Rates and data

Malaysian rates change — OPR decisions, Budget announcements, EPF and PERKESO revisions, tariff reviews and tax schedules. We source figures from official bodies such as Bank Negara Malaysia, LHDN, KWSP, PERKESO, JTKSM, TNB and DOSM, and cite the source on the page where a figure appears.

We aim to update promptly, but there may be a lag between an official announcement and our update. See our rate update policy for how this is handled and how to report a stale figure.
