UOB PRVI Miles Card Malaysia 2026

Up to 12× points overseas · 8 free lounge visits — 1 air mile per RM1 across Southeast Asia

The verdict

The UOB PRVI Miles Elite Card is UOB Malaysia's best air-miles card and the only one in the PRVI range still open to new applicants. It earns up to 12× UNIRinggit per RM1 on spend in Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia — roughly 1 air mile per ringgit, the strongest regional earn rate UOB offers — and includes 8 airport lounge visits a year plus RM300,000 of travel insurance. It is worth the RM600 fee if you fly regionally more than twice a year.

⚠️ The standard UOB PRVI Miles Card is closed

UOB Malaysia no longer accepts applications for the original UOB PRVI Miles Card. Everything below refers to the PRVI Miles Elite, the active card. Existing standard cardholders keep 1× UNIRinggit locally and 5× on overseas, airline, hotel and travel-agency spend — but that card carries no lounge access and no travel insurance.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many airport lounge visits does the UOB PRVI Miles Elite Card give?
The UOB PRVI Miles Elite Card gives 8 complimentary airport lounge visits per calendar year, for the principal cardmember only, limited to one admission per day. Access covers Plaza Premium Lounges across roughly 16 airports in 8 countries and territories, plus an exclusive UOB private lounge at KLIA Terminal 1. Supplementary cardholders do not receive lounge access, and KLIA Terminal 2 access and guest admissions have been discontinued.
Is the UOB PRVI Miles Elite lounge access Priority Pass or DragonPass?
Neither. The UOB PRVI Miles Elite Card uses UOB's own Plaza Premium Lounge programme — it is not a Priority Pass or DragonPass membership. You do not receive a separate lounge membership card; access is granted on presentation of the PRVI Miles Elite card and a valid boarding pass. This is a common point of confusion because the UOB Visa Infinite Card uses the Airport Companion (DragonPass) network instead.
Can I still apply for the standard UOB PRVI Miles Card?
No. UOB Malaysia states that applications for the standard UOB PRVI Miles Card are no longer accepted. The UOB PRVI Miles Elite Card is the active product in the PRVI Miles range. Existing standard PRVI Miles cardholders keep their card and its benefits — 1× UNIRinggit per RM1 locally and 5× on overseas, airline, hotel and travel-agency spend — but the card has no lounge access and no travel insurance.
How many air miles per RM1 does the UOB PRVI Miles Elite earn?
UOB converts 12,000 UNIRinggit into 1,000 air miles, so 12 UNIRinggit equals 1 air mile. That means overseas spend in Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia (up to 12× UNIRinggit per RM1) earns about 1 air mile per RM1 — the best rate on the card. Other overseas spend at 10× earns about 0.83 miles per RM1, airline spend at 5× earns about 0.42 miles per RM1, and local spend at 1× earns about 0.08 miles per RM1. Miles transfer to Enrich, KrisFlyer and Asia Miles.
What is the UOB PRVI Miles Elite annual fee and income requirement?
The annual fee is RM600 for the principal card, with supplementary cards free. New-to-bank applicants get the first year waived under a campaign running to 31 December 2026; from year two the fee is waived with a minimum RM50,000 annual spend. The minimum income requirement is RM100,000 per year (about RM8,333 per month). Paying the annual fee also credits a 60,000 UNIRinggit renewal bonus, worth about 5,000 air miles.
UOB PRVI Miles Elite vs UOB Visa Infinite — which is better?
Take the PRVI Miles Elite if you travel regionally: 12× UNIRinggit per RM1 in Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia is the best overseas earn rate UOB offers, and the income bar is lower (RM100,000 vs RM120,000/year). Take the Visa Infinite if you value airport perks over earn rate: it gives 12 lounge visits (vs 8), up to 12 complimentary airport limousine rides, and RM500,000 of travel insurance (vs RM300,000). Both charge RM600 a year, waived at RM50,000 annual spend.
